Dinonyl Naphthalene Sulfonate (T705A) |

Ⅰ. Property
The neutral barium dinonylnaphthalene sulfonate (T705A)
is a kind of good rust-preventive agent and emulsion
breaker. Since its chemical structure is different to
that of basic barium dinonylnaphthalene sulfonate
(T705). Its basic value is less than that of T705, and
its neutralization with some acid additives in oil
products is lower, too. In preparing composite agent,
T705A will not produce precipitation. |
Ⅱ. Use |

1. As emulsion breaker and
rust-preventive agent in abrasion-resistant hydraulic
pressure oil.
2. Used in industrial lubricating agents working in
moist environment, such as paper machine oil, rock drill
oil, turbine oil, cycle stock and so on.
3. As rust-preventive agent in lubricating grease.

Experiment methods |
①In a glass test-tube
of diameter 30mm-40mm and height 120mm-130mm, add test
sample to 2/3 height and observe from the tube side in
greenhouse.
②Add 150# neutral oil (rubber industrial solvent oil for T705) to a
beaker, add in 5% sample and dissolve it fully. Put it
aside for 24 hours. If the solution has no white
precipitation and suspension,it's qualified. |
