Feature

1、At the stage of high-temperature cooling, cooling rate is fast and even. At the stage of convective cooling, it cools down slowly and evenly. In so, QO-101 not only guarantees hardness of workpieces, also minimize its risk of deformation and cracking caused by quenching.
2、Prolonged lifespan and stable performance resulting from modified base stocks and packs/adds technol-ogy.
3、Higher flash point and well-controlled viscosity make possible less consumption of quenching oil and lower operating cost under same circumstance.
4、Low vapor pressure and volatile to protect furnace atmosphere against carburizing and quenching.
5、Excellent thermal and oxidative stability. The use of special anti-oxidant enables less formation of sludge and keep clean and smooth of cooling circulation system, filter, screen and agitation system.

Application

Advised to use in the quenching of oil-drill pipe, oil-well pipe and annular tube.

Instruction

1、Agitate QO-101 using pump or stirring vane. Avoid the use of compressed air agitation because it will aerate the oil so as to accelerate its oxidation.
2、Power output of heater should be less than 1.6 watt/cm2 which prevents overheating of heater and there-fore generating polymeric film that will bring the heater into failure.
3、Higher flash point and well-controlled viscosity make possible less consumption of quenching oil and lower operating cost under same circumstance.
4、Don’t use brass or brass-contained components of condenser, pump, agitator, pipe and quenching tank. Better to use steel, stainless steel or tin-galvanized components.
5、Avoid water contamination in oil which will lead to defects, like quenching soft spot, large deformation of workpieces and even cracking. Furthermore, it will cause foaming on the oil surface and bring possible fire.
